J. L. Lightfoot is Professor of Greek Literature at the University of Oxford and Charlton Fellow and Tutor in Classic at New College, Oxford. As well as the first volume of Manetho's works Pseudo-Manetho, Apotelesmatica, Books Two, Three, and Six (OUP, 2020), her publications include Dionysius Periegetes: Description of the Known World (2014), The Sibylline Oracles (2007), Lucian: 'On the Syrian Goddess' (2003), and Parthenius of Nicaea: The Extant Works (1999). She is an elected Fellow of the British Academy, and an Honorary Fellow of St John's College, Oxford.
