Push-Pull-Turn: Fire Truck to the Rescue!, illustrated by Joe Bucco, gives a fascinating introduction to the world of fire stations, the vehicles, and the fire fighters. With flaps and tabs on every page, the book also features four special spreads that give an in-depth insight into the fire station, fire engine, fire helicopter, and firefighting practices. The fun rhyming story follows a firefighting mission that takes the fire crew out of the station, on the road, and to the emergency site to tackle a blazing building.

Peter Bentley is married with two children, and lives in Totnes, Devon. He studied languages at Oxford University. He has been writing children’s books since the birth of his first child and has written over 40 titles, one of which (Cats Ahoy!) won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2011.

Joe Bucco studied illustration at the Columbus College of Art and Design, and after spending some time in New York returned to his home town of Cleveland where he lives with his wife and two children. As well as illustrating children's books, he has worked on graphic novels, comic books, greeting cards, and stage design.
