Richard Blackaby is the oldest son of Henry and Marilynn Blackaby. He earned his BA in history, MDiv in theology, and a PhD in church history. He has been a senior pastor and has served as president of the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary since 1993. He is married to Lisa and they enjoy three teenage children.
