Numerous Publications have highlighted the importance of increasing success among racial and ethnic minority students in STEM education. The authors of this monograph provide a comprehensive analysis and synthesis of more than three hundred published works related to minority students in STEM education. In doing so, they paint a picture of what researchers know about minorities in STEM, how this information can help educators effectively facilitate those students' success, and what important information future research can generate to help educators accomplish that task.
