A compelling story of friendship that starts in a university dormitory and stretches over time and across continents as each roommate chases her unique destiny Room 216 is about four strong female characters and their complex experiences. It tells the story of university roommates, each with a unique motivation and struggle. After graduation, Sandy, Tintin, Serene, and Issa embark on separate journeys that take them to different parts of the world. Over time and across continents, the roommates chase their respective destinies— some pursuits end in triumph, while others in unbearable loss.

Mignon (Migs) Bravo Dutt is a writer and researcher who has published her works in several countries, regions, and cultures. She is the author of the contemporary novel The Rosales House. Migs has also published several essays, including one in The Washington Post about her pandemic experience in the USA. She has contributed prose and poetry to anthologies and journals and has been featured in literary interviews and programmes in Asia, Europe, and the USA. Her short fiction was selected for 22 New Asian Short Stories, Kitaab’ s The Best Asian Short Stories, and Growing Up Filipino 3.
