Michele Westmoreland is an award-winning wildlife photographer. Capturing images of the amazing underwater world has been her passion for 20 years, six of which have been devoted to extensive travel specifically to photograph ôtwo of a kindö pairs. Her work has appeared in national and international dive publications such as Sport Diver, Scuba Diving, Sport Diving Australia, Fathoms, Unterwasser, Asian Diver, Nature's Best, Outside, National Geographic, Adventure, Islands and Caribbean Travel, Life and Smithsonian. Westmorland lives with her photographer husband, Stuart, as a partner in Westmorland Photography, operating from their home in Mill Creek, Washington. Barbara Sleeper's career as a zoologist and science writer has spanned more than twenty-five years and eighty countries as she has traveled the glove to observe animals in the wild and learn firsthand about their specific conservation issues. Her nearly 300 wildlife and travel articles have appeared in numerous national and international magazines, including Audubon, Australian Natural History, Pacific Discovery, Life, Travel and Leisure, Travel Holiday, Anima, Das Tier, Wildlife Art News, Animals, and Ranger Rick. She is the author of seven books including, Vanishing Act, Out Seattle; and Migrations: Animals in Motion. Barbara resides in Bothell, Washington.
