Sibling Identity and Relationships: Sisters and Brothers

Families are currently high on the political agenda as is working with children to inform the provision of children's welfare and services.This book looks at the current discourses on children and their sibling relationships and then moves on to take a new cross-disciplinary approach, making innovative connections between individual, family and social lives, including how these are linked to other relationships within localities and communities. It explores how children and young people understand their sibling relationships, taking a child-focused approach.
