There is power in both the spoken and written word. According to the scriptures, "the power of life and death is the tongue..." We also recognize the old saying, "the pen is mightier than the sword." With poetry we have an opportunity to utter healing, peace, confidence, inspirations, and laughter. Our words are powerful enough to draw people into our dreams but even more important, help transform their dreams into a reality. Wouldn't you agree that we have an obligation to whisper that life?
