Spirituality 101

For those who want more from college than just a degree. Spirituality 101 offers a starting point for college students seeking spiritual fulfillment on campus. Students from a variety of religious traditions -- including Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, and neo-paganism -- as well as faculty and student affairs professionals share accessible advice on a range of topics related to spirituality, touching on everyting from practical obstacles such as finding time for religious practice, to more profound challenges such as dealing with a crisis of faith. Harriet L Schwartz has worked in higher education for more than a decade. She has served as an academic advisor for a Division I men's basketball team, led campus diversity and community service initiatives, and provided career counseling to students in the performing and fine arts. She currently serves as assistant director of teh Career Center at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. She frequently contributes to a variety of publications including Modern Drummer and The Advocate.
