Spy's Reveille

A must for any reader looking for international intrigue, adventure, suspense, mixed with a few touching moments, all packed in a spy caper that's funny as hell.The Cold War has ended, and national security organizations have been right sized, downsized, and otherwise left to rust. Aleksei, a demoralized Russian KGB agent, is daydreaming through another inane staff meeting when he's assigned to dismantle an idle spy cell, planted in America during the Cold War. To fill-in the mission details he's missed, Aleksei heists the Top Secret file containing contact names and rendezvous points. The aged file, however, was never purged of a hypothetical scenario to plant listening devices in the White House. Not knowing better, Aleksei heads to America sounding the reveille call to a ragtag team of inexperienced spies. Together they launch a series of plots to bug the President's Oval Office. Their brushes with the CIA and Secret Service are absolutely hilarious, and the caper's unexpected finale is simply priceless.
