Terry Newell currently teaches and consults on leadership development and ethics through his firm, Leadership for a Responsible Society. He was previously Dean of Faculty of the Federal Executive Institute, a residential education center for high-level government leaders. Prior to that, he was director of the Horace Mann Learning Center, the internal education arm of the U.S. Department of Education, and was an officer in the U.S. Air Force. Newell was co-editor of The Trusted Leader: Building the Relationships that Make Government Work.
