The book brings together, in a single source, a coherent set of quality writings in the field of strategic regional planning. It aims to fulfill a need generated by a renewed emphasis in the UK on strategic regional planning enshrined in new style spatial strategies through recent legislation, including the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Bill (soon to become an Act).
