Studio Companion Series Drafting Basics

Each book willgive simple examples and instructions and help them master the skillsthey need for design projects. The series includes: Design Basics; Drafting Basics; 3D Design Basics, and Presentation Basics.Drafting Basicsaddresses all the tools and equipment needed to hand draft and sketch with lead and ink. Students will learn how to communicate through fundamental two-dimensional drawings including plans, elevations, and sections. They will discover how to write their alphabet with technical tools and how to appropriately use text to enhance a drawing. The book concludes with the basics of sketching and technically drafting the drawing. This book will reinforce the importance of hand skills - a requirement of the interior design profession from entry level to the most seasoned professional.
