Billy Ursic grew up in Southwestern Pennsylvania with dreams of one day becoming a professional motocross racer. He succeeded in 2000, but after qualifying for two 125cc MX Nationals, he quickly realized how hard it would be to actually make a career of racing. So on to plan B: college. He attended California University of Pennsylvania, and upon graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 2003, Ursic was hired by one of the leading motocross/supercross publications, Racer X Illustrated. Billy Ursic is currently an Associate Editor and Online Editor with Racer X.
Simon Cudby is a photographer specializing in action sports. He shoots for a variety of manufacturers and magazines, including Motocross Magazine. His work is featured in American Motocross Illustrated, volumes 1 and 2. Originally from London, England, Cudby now lives and works in Southern California.
