Six children and their families of diverse ethnicities and cultures make up the exquisite fabric of Taikamaa, a mysterious little land nestled between the mountains and the lake. The innocent forays of the children into the mountains reveals an adjacent land that the legends say were inhabited by a King & Queen. This is a story of simple lives and the reunion of long-lost kin.

Ramya Kapadia is a dancer/choreographer and vocalist specializing in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music (dance and music forms of South India). A multi-disciplinary artist, she also paints - Warli and Zentangle are her go-to forms and writes scripts and scores music for her works. With the Taikamaa series, a gift to her daughter for her tenth birthday, she fulfills a long time dream of writing children's books.
