Textbook of Psychiatry

The Textbook of Psychiatry prepares students for the range of mental health problems they are likely to encounter on clinical attachments and in practice. Part I addresses the basic concepts in psychiatry and includes practical guidelines to elicit a mental health history, form a managementplan, and communicate effectively with patients. The role of psychiatry in primary care is given due prominence in line with the current practice. Part II is organized in clinical topics, covering the most common disorders which students need to know.
