Charles Klein (1867-1915) was an American playwright, born in London, England. He was educated at North London College and early travelled to New York City, where for a time he was play censor for Charles Frohman. His plays include: A Mile a Minute (1890), By Proxy (1892), The District Attorney (1895), Two Little Vagrants (1896), Heartsease (1897), The Charlatan (1898), A Royal Rogue (1900) and The Auctioneer (1901). Arthur Hornblow (1865-1942) was a noted American playwright. His works include: The Profligate (1908), By Right of Conquest (1909), The Easiest Way (1911), The Talker (1912), Bought and Paid For (1912) and The Mask (1913).
