Jim Bruton has been a forty-five year Vikings season-ticket bolder. After thirty five years in the field of correctors, he retired as the warder of the state's maximum security prison the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Oak Park Heights. In 1965-1966, Bruton was a member of the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team and signed professional football contracts with the Minnesota Vikings in 1967-1971, and with the Dallas Cowboys in 1968.
