The "blahs" is a description my mother used to apply when she was having a low day. What she usually meant was that she just could not get the motivation or the energy to jumpstart her day. As an adult, I have realized exactly how the "blahs" work on the human emotions. The actual term for these emotions is depression. Depression ranges in severity from mild sadness like the "blahs" to thoughts of suicide. Sadly, almost every human being has had some form of depression throughout a lifetime. Depression is a solitary darkness. This small book is for those who are experiencing all forms of depression. At the very least, loved ones and friends can learn that telling a depressed person to "get over it" is cruel because depression is an evil taskmaster and will not let go simply because we want to get over it.
