Trophic Organization in Coastal Systems is a comprehensive study of what is known about one of the most important processes in marine science: the response of trophic organization to the eutrophication process and how nutrient loading via human activities affects marine systems. Based upon 70 field-years of data in 10 coastal systems, it gives a detailed account of the long-term response of a series of coastal food webs to variables such as nutrient loading.
