Turning Our Schools Upside Down

TURNING OUR SCHOOLS UPSIDE DOWN IS AN UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL BOOK FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS, AND ANY ONE INTERESTED IN THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION. It was written to provide an answer to a troubled American school system failing students and losing credibility. As debates continue on how to fix education little thought has been given to replacing the broken system that has been undergoing repairs for over six decades. TURNING OUR SCHOOLS UPSIDE DOWN invites readers to consider a paradigm shift and view education in a different perspective. Teachers are placed at the top of a school district's organizational chart and principals and superintendent positions would be at the bottom or eliminated. TURNING OUR SCHOOLS UPSIDE DOWN is a summary of a plan entitled "Students Always First Endeavor" (SAFE). The need for such a plan is given to readers at the beginning and a call of action because of our current education system's vulnerability is illustrated at the conclusion. It is presented in an easy reading style using past experiences of the author as a teacher and principal to help illustrate and outline a new education system.
