Unfinished Business

Move beyond your past into the future God has for you. E. Stanley Jones observed that we have learned everything about life except how to live it. Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly." But one of the main issues that prevents us from a living an abundant life today is unfinished business from the past. As much as we may want to live in the present, the past often influences us in ways we don't realize. Jesus taught us to "shake off the dust" when we experience the pains and difficulties of life. Throughout the Bible we are taught to put off the old and then put on the new. We won't be ready for the new opportunity, the new challenge, the new life, the new blessing until we shake off the dust of the old experiences of our lives. That's because our minds are so focused on what happened to us in the past that we can't focus on what is happening in the moment and what can happen if we open ourselves to a new work of God. This book will help the reader identify the types of "dust" that are clinging to him and teach him how to shake them off and move into all God has for him.
