Peter A. Huff, PhD, holds the Besl Family Chair in Ethics/Religion and Society at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Huff earned his doctorate in historical theology from Saint Louis University in 1994 and publishes widely on contemporary Christian thought. His companion volume, The Voice of Vatican II: Words for Our Church Today, will be available in 2012, the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of Vatican II.
