The Versatile Reptile

When most people think of reptiles, they think scaly, cold blooded and possibly poisonous. But the young adventurer loves reptiles and is rather disappointed that we have so few in the UK. So she goes off round the world to seek out some of her favourites and discover the versatile world of the reptile.

Abbie Cameron is an artist and illustrator whose work with Graffeg includes the highly popular Animal Surprises series and their tie-in activity books How To Draw, in which Abbie guides children through creating their own animal drawings. Nicola Davies graduated in Zoology from King’ s College, University of Cambridge, before becoming a presenter for The Really Wild Show and the BBC Natural History Unit. She is an award-winning author, whose many books for children include The Promise, Tiny, A First Book of Nature and Whale Boy.
