Water Finance Public Responsibilities and

Water Finance begins with the story of the water business: why water is different from other businesses politically and socially. Then it will go into water's relationship with the city and it's ties in land development, urban water, household water, aesthetics, and landscaping. Water and wastewater will be highlighted as a utility business; water and food will be highlighted for emerging irrigation systems opportunities. Water for energy, play, fishing, damage control will be shown in detail and well as water in private water sectors and for capital.

Neil S. Grigg is Professor of Civil Engineering at Colorado State University. He has worked as professor, administrator, and consultant in the fields of infrastructure engineering and management, water resources engineering, urban water systems, and public administration of infrastructure facilities. Grigg is a registered professional engineer in Colorado, Alabama, and North Carolina. He has served as a consultant for many UN agencies including FAO, UNDP, and UNESCO.
