Now five years old, Annalise discovers that getting older comes with new experiences and fresh challenges. From taking care of a sick mommy, enjoying her birthday, and pretending to be an adult, she and her favorite stuffed animal Buster learn new skills, face unfamiliar problems, and prove themselves to be more mature. When Annalise starts school, however, she has to learn how to maneuver life's adventures without her trusty sidekick.
Eventually, she finds out there's nothing she can't overcome and that, whether by her side or not, Buster is always her biggest fan.

Bobbi Menlove has been writing for over five years now. She finds inspiration from her life around her—whether from her rambunctious family or her pets.
Before retiring, Bobbi worked in social work with domestic violence survivors and children with mental disabilities. She has several degrees and certificates including psychology and mental health services.
