A Date With Dad The Adventures of Poa Presents

POA is an energetic and ambitious five year-old girl with the world at her feet. Through the power of imagination, she encounters new worlds in which she enthusiastically takes the driver's seat as a fearless superhero. The POA book series, which is written by debut author LaToyia Jones, provides a glimpse into the countless possibilities young minds can experience through adventurous exploration. In the series' first book, Date with Dad, POA imagines the exciting details of an upcoming date with her father.

POA's character was inspired by LaToyia's real-life event, the annual Him & ME dance, an event designed to bring fathers and daughters together and strengthen their relationship. In Date With Dad, POA uses her superhero powers to attempt to predict the details of her upcoming date with her father. Little does she know that she's in for a memorable evening providing the reader with the opportunity to spend more time and connect with their little girls. The project name is Adventures of POA.

Latoyia Jones has focused her efforts on perpetuating positive, happy, and healthy experiences for black families with her annual Him and Me father-daughter dances. Now LaToyia has turned her sights on children's empowerment books. In each story, Jones provides a glimpse into the countless possibilities young minds can experience through adventurous exploration. She encourages children to be creative, explore the full depths of their imaginations, and to open their eyes to the wonders of the world around them. LaToyia lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her puppies Choice & Sky. This is her first book. Joshua "Jay" Wallace is the Retail Graphic Designer for the Cleveland Cavaliers. His work can be seen

and social media accounts. Graduating from Columbus College of Art & Design he freelances in Illustration
and Graphic Design. He's worked with teams such as the Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers and University
of Louisville Mens Basketball. Eryka has worked with influencers, thought leaders, and entrepreneurs to develop their writing potential and connect with their target market for the past decade. She focuses on positively impacting the world, one literary project at a time.
