With a penchant for telling stories with a light tone and a dark underbelly, she prefers writing contemporary mysteries, science fiction, fantasy, horror and the occasional romance. She most recently wrote Curse of the Pharaohs for Assassin's Creed: Origins and won a Writers Guild Award for her work on Horizon Zero Dawn.
