Immigration Nation provides a critical analysis of the impact that U.S. immigration policy has on human rights. Tanya Maria Golash-Boza is an assistant professor of sociology and American studies at the University of Kansas. She has published articles on blackness in Peru, Latino/a identity in the U.S., and the human rights impact of U.S immigration policies. Her most recent work is a cross-national study of deportees in the Caribbean.
