Keeping Tummies Happy

After working through a Celiac diagnosis for her then-3-year-old son and then herself, Erin wanted a book so that her son wouldn't feel like the only one who needed to deal with dietary restrictions. Celiac and other dietary restrictions can often feel like a burden and very isolating. This book was written so kids with restrictions don't feel so isolated and kids without restrictions (and their adults!) can be become a bit more sensitive and understanding of the topic.

Erin Meadows is a wife and mom living in Westfield, Indiana. Her older son, Henry, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2020 after months of suffering from various symptoms. Celiac Disease is genetic, so she asked for a blood test which came back positive - giving her the reason behind years of her own symptoms. This prompted the family to begin lifestyle changes and begin eating a gluten free diet.
