Michael Hague's superbly detailed art style has inspired and influenced how several generations view classic illustrated children's stories. He has illustrated timeless tales including The Wind in the Willows, The Wizard of Oz, The Velveteen Rabbit, and The Hobbit, as well as the tales of Hans Christian Andersen. In early 2001, he began learning how to paint on a computer and has since combined those new skills with traditional drawing to create art for a graphic novel, In the Small, and for an interpretation of the popular holiday tune "White Christmas." He lives in Colorado Springs.
