My Name is Benny Vol. 1

Follow the adventures of precocious preteen tomboy Benny, who is never seen without their trusty gasmask (don't ask), and her fellow latchkey kids as they discover increasingly creative ways to stave off boredom in their suburban neighborhood. From waging war on insect home invaders to going all out for Halloween, Benny is down for weirdo adventures all day every day. Told through a series of short comic stories illustrated using digital watercolors, My Name is Benny is equal parts hilarious, awesome, and fun!

Sokomin is an artist who draws inspiration from simple, silly, everyday moments with friends and family. Born in South Korea, Sokomin moved to America at a young age, and her journey as an artist began with creating four-panel comics of stick figures for her little brother, her only reader at the time. She keeps a folder of notes for every idea that comes to her (which happens mostly when she's falling asleep). 20% of these have made it into comics. She's not lazy; she's just waiting for them to mature (she likes to call it "fermenting").
