Diane Falanga a hip, forty-four-year-old mother of two children, was inspired to put this book together after her own eight-year-old daughter sent home daily please to be rescued while she was away at camp, but then insisted on returning to camp the next summer. After sharing her story with a number of friends, and sending out a few e-mails, Diane was able to easily gather a few hundred of these candid and humorous letters.
