In 1938, with war getting closer in Europe and avidly monitored in the US capital, we go much further afield and follow the advisories, American and Nazi German, in the world's largest, totally foreign environment; the Amazon, where the river and the world´s largest Rainforest, plus tribes of native Indians, challenge them on every step of their dangerous journey. In their pursuit of their mysterious prize, both sides believe it can win them the impending war when it eventually breaks out, so failure is not an option!
