This book is an accessible reference text aimed at helping people write about quantitative research in applied linguistics, focusing mainly on writing for journals. The book offers advice on academic writing, how and where to get research published, and recommends additional resources helpful for both students and seasoned researchers.

Lindy Woodrow is a Senior Lecturer (Honorary) at the University of Sydney, Australia. She has published in the areas of academic writing, academic adaption and second language motivation. She has taught on thesis and dissertation writing courses and is a regular reviewer and statistics advisor for high ranking journals in applied linguistics.
