Rescued as a "free" puppy, her carefree life took her to places and unbelievable actions that are all true and genuine. With each short story, it makes for a fun read for readers of all ages. The illustrations are abstract paintings of each of these antics of Zoe-ee, The Crooked Tail Dog.

Walt Teague is a father and grandfather who finds joy in reading to his children and grandchildren. As an architect and owner of an organic farm, he and his wife have provided homes for many horses, goats, chickens, cows, cats and dogs, including Zoe, their beloved Black Lab. Patti Teague is a most fun-loving mother, grandmother and caretaker of animals. As an elementary school teacher early in her career she possesses a love for teaching young children of all ages. She is the consummate caretaker of all creatures great and small including Zoe-ee, the Crooked Tail Dog who she personally rescued as a puppy and provided the best life a dog could ever live.
