Everyone's Problem: Addiction & Recovery looks at the spiritual implications of addictions, as well as the physiological and psychological problems that result. It focuses on three addictions most prevalent among teens: alcohol and drug abuse, tobacco addiction, and eating disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia, and compulsive overeating. The first four sessions of the mini-course offer detailed information about each of these addictions, including their immediate and long-term consequences. The last four sessions deal specifically with recovery. This mini-course shares information about the processes used by several support groups and recovery programs that are rooted in Catholic Christian teaching and practice. This mini-course is for all teenagers because all have or will in some way be forced to confront problems and issues having to do with addictions.
