The Colors of My Emotions

The Purpose of this book is to nurture children's Emotional Intelligence by helping them identify their emotions, the causes of those emotions, and the strategies they can use to self-regulate, which is achieved with co-regulation (the help from parents/guardians, teachers or a more capable other). It includes the "Bubble of Emotions", an interactive tool children use to plot their emotions throughout the day.

Daniela Fenu Foerch is the author of "The Colors of My Emotions." Besides writing children's books, Daniela is a full-time professor of early childhood education at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She also conducts research on how to nurture emotional intelligence in young children and their families.Linn Osnes is the illustrator of The Colors of My Emotions. Linn embarked on a journey that incorporated all her life experiences with a long-standing passion for art and design. She is represented at several galleries in Europe and the United States and has received several awards. She has developed a strong passion for various forms of illustrations including children's books.
