English summary: These papers reflect the ongoing changes in the varieties of structure in the southwest of the German-speaking region, a region comprised of six states that has particular interest in conservatism. They show that recent developments of regional languages require new linguistic practices. The major substantive and methodological enrichment that the dialectology has experienced in recent years thus manifests itself here. Linguistic areas, such as morphology, syntax, and word formation are treated more intensively, variation of all kinds are more strongly emphasized, and in addition to traditional dialects, regional substandards receive the necessary attention. The book also sheds light on phonetics, phonology, and research on names, and documents the vitality and study of a language area. German text. German description: Die Beitrage dieses Bandes spiegeln die laufenden Veranderungen der Varietaten und des Varietatengefuges im Sudwesten des deutschen Sprachgebiets, in einer an sechs Staaten beteiligten Region, der besondere Konservativitat nachgesagt wird. Sie zeigen, dass die rezenten Entwicklungen der Regionalsprachen neue sprachwissenschaftliche Vorgehensweisen erfordern.So manifestieren sich hier auch die grossen inhaltlichen und methodischen Bereicherungen, die die Dialektologie in den letzten Jahren erfahren hat. Linguistische Gebiete wie Morphologie, Syntax und Wortbildung werden intensiver behandelt, Variation aller Art wird starker betont, ausser den traditionellen Dialekten finden auch die regionalen Substandards die notige Beachtung.
