The Big Opportunity

1934. Boy Scout motto and laws bring new ideals to Billy Rush, a lame mountain lad, son of a drunken father and an invalid mother. But he quickly masters the true meaning of the regulations and strives to be faithful. In strict obedience to his conscience and the law, he recognizes his opportunity, rescues a kidnaped child, breaks up a gang of moonshiners, frees his father from the clutches of a scoundrel, restores his mother's health, remedies his own lameness and redeems his father from a drunkard's life.
