Espousing conservation and other ecological values, this entertaining tale presents Rudolf Klimsky, an orchestra director like no other. Instead of musical instruments, Rudolf's orchestra is made up of dogs, dolphins, horses, lions, owls, and a host of other animals. In contrast to the idea that music has the power to tame animals, this story shows that perhaps the music of animals may have the power to tame humans.
