Innovating EFL Teaching in Asia

This collection offers a distinctly Asian voice for English language education and addresses some of the unique needs of Asian learners in EFL contexts. Teachers and researchers from nine Asian countries present some of the most current and innovative research in five distinct and fascinating areas of EFL teaching and learning.

THERON MULLER is a Teacher Trainer, EFL teacher, and co-owner of the Noah Language Center, Nagano, Japan.

STEVEN HERDER has been teaching EFL in Japan since 1989 and is Associate Professor, Department of International Studies, Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts.

JOHN ADAMSON is Associate Professor, Department of International Studies and Regional Development at the University of Niigata Prefacture, Japan. He is Senior Associate Editor for Asian EFL Journal and The Linguistics Journal.

PHILIP SHIGEO BROWN is a Special Lecturer at Konan Women's University, Japan, a University of Birmingham distance MA TEFL/SL tutor, and has taught in Japan for 10 years in various contexts.
