Dean Nowotny initially wrote the book to meet a personal need. Every Christmas he becomes Santa Claus. He was unable to find a suitable book to share with the children that clearly portrayed the true meaning of Christmas, while not eliminating Santa Claus - so he wrote one!

Dean and his wife Susan were in full time ministry for over twenty-five
years in their home state of Massachusetts. They now live in Virginia
