The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of sustainable development and how you can make an immediate, positive impact on the world. We invite you to explore the challenges of sustainable development, seek logical steps to success, and take meaningful action.

This guide highlights the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030, also known as the Global Goals. It makes the case that these goals are the most logical path to overcoming the monumental problems that face our world. The SDGs address hunger, poverty, equality, clean water, education, and the protection of natural resources for future generations.

As you read the Sustainable Development Guide, consider these questions:

1. Do I know the 17 Global Goals?
2. Am I passionate about specific goals?
3. Are nonprofits providing continuous handouts or truly providing sustainable development solutions?

Stephen's passion for sustainable development stemmed from working on a Master's degree at the University of Notre Dame along with an Impact Trip to Nicaragua with the nonprofit organization, P4H Global.

Stephen grew up in beautiful South Florida and has traveled, both domestically and internationally, to 44 states and 30 countries. Stephen provides business solutions to a wide range of industries. Some of his specialties include board management, development, strategy, program management, business innovation, technology consulting, and nonprofit leadership. Megan Moore is an experienced adviser to C-suite-level leadership in integrated marketing and communications. She is a transformative, ethical team leader with a high level of emotional intelligence that drives results-oriented projects. Cam received his Master's degree in Agricultural Education and Communication specialized in Leadership Development from the University of Florida. His love for leadership education, sustainable development, and international travel intersect in his role, where he oversees our international programming. He brings creativity, energy, and passion to the team as he innovates and enhances our Impact Trips. Priscilla Zelaya is the Co-Founder and COO of P4H Global. She received her Bachelors's and Master's degrees from the University of Florida in Elementary Education. Priscilla received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Agricultural Education and Communication with a specialization in Extension Education. She hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams and use their God-given talents to change the world.
