Timidity

It is late spring, 1945. Annette Mosconi, falsely accused of murder, is being held, incommunicado, in jail by a corrupt sheriff. The forces aligned against her are formidable. She has no one to turn to but her teenage son, Rick, who is hamstrung by his own inner demon he calls the heebie jeebies. The story begins with a grisly murder and ends with an explosive court trial decades later where long held secrets are revealed that will change people's lives forever.
