Maria Estela's True Tex Recipes

This book was created from many years of preparing meals for the three boys that Maria Estela De La Rosa raised to manhood. There were times when any one of the recipe's in this book would have seemed like a meal fit for a king. A few were provided by friends and relatives, but most are true tex recipe's derived from some research and many trials and errors in attempts to provide meals for a hungry family.The Chili recipe in particular is one that was created by cookies who followed Charles Goodnight and Jesse Chisholm up cattle trails to Colorado and Kansas.
