The Access Road

This contemporary science fiction drama "The Access Road," is inspired by the contribution of Henrietta Lacks, an African American woman whose cells assisted in medical breakthroughs in knowledge of cell biology, and vaccine development. It is a unique blend of fact and fiction reimagined to educate and entertain all audiences who enjoy reading stories about advanced technology, fantasy worlds, and adventure.

Janine D. Robinson is a native of Massachusetts. She received a bachelor's degree in Human Service Advocacy from The University of Massachusetts, Boston, and has worked in the medical community in different capacities for over 25 years. Presently she works full-time as a board-certified Massage Therapist.
Her fascination and interest with Henrietta Lacks' story, is reimagined for her readers in the sci-fi drama, The Access Road. The story is told through the lives of six people who are faced with honoring promises, facing challenges, and making sacrifices.
She is also the author of "Walk With Me" a collection of poems published in 2012.
