Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Alice’s adventures down the rabbit hole, in particular the strange characters she meets there—the constantly grinning Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts—have become world-famous, as have many of Carroll’s verses. Throughout the century and a half since its first publication, Alice’s story has been illustrated in many editions. This anniversary edition brings together the complete and unabridged text with more than 70 stunning illustrations by Robert Ingpen, each reflecting his unique style and extraordinary imagination in visualizing this enchanting story.

Lewis Carroll, the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, is the author of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Robert Ingpen has designed, illustrated, and written more than 100 published works of fiction and nonfiction. In 1986 he was awarded the Hans Christian Andersen Medal for his contribution to children's literature.
