American Women In The Vietnam War

The Vietnam War was not just a male experience. More than 7,500 women served in various branches of the military, and others served as nurses with civilian aid organizations. Women traveled to Vietnam as reporters, journalists, librarians, and entertainers, and some looked after orphaned Vietnamese children in their spare time.
