Among the Great Masters of Music

Walter Rowlands (1855-? ) was an author and editor in Boston. He was employed in the Fine Arts Division in the Boston Public Library and completed a "Master Series" on famous artists. His works include: Recent Italian Art (1888), Recent English Art (1889), Among the Great Masters of Literature (1900), Among the Great Masters of Music (1900), Among the Great Masters of Painting (1901), Among the Great Masters of Oratory (1901), Among the Great Masters of Warfare (1902), Among the Great Masters of the Drama (1903) and Curious Old Gravestones in and About Boston (1924).
